China's Coral Reefs Nearly Gone, Study Finds.

Scientist have recently discovered something alarming. The coral reefs near china are have been depleting over the past 30 years. It has been said that this loss is "grim picture of decline, degradation and destruction" What could have caused all this destruction you might ask? It's from pollution, over fishing, and coastal development. Economic expansion in China has effected the environment in a major way. This shouldn't be ignored, the Chinese government should look into saving what they can of the coral reefs. Their government should make laws on how much fish can be taken from the waters at a time and be stricter when it comes to pollution. Without the reefs they could lose fish which is a popular resource. Hopefully they can fix the issue as soon as possible. http://www.livescience.com/25870-china-coral-reefs.html
