Companies Going Green
Many companies around the world are going green to reduce the carbon footprint. Automobile companys have made vehicals that emit less carbon compounds and sulfur. Insurance companies offer better deals for people wanting eco-friendly and hybrid cars. New items are being made that save energy and reduce pollution. Most companies are going green because many customers are only buying products from companies that are producing enco-friendly products. Even though the change would be time consuming and expensive they end up saving more money in the long run. Companies going green are recycling and some even offer employees a cash back offer if they buy a hybrid vehical. It's a good thing that big companies are now going green because some of them had the most impact on the environment.

I like this issue because it is showing us that the wolrd is atleast trying to make this world a better and cleaner place. By going green, many enviromental issues would be elliminated. This clearly shows that if everyone did something to change the enviroment then we wouldnt be in this crisis. I wish alot more companies would recycle and care about the enviroment.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a really good idea. Maybe by a few companies going green right now, in time it will start a chain reaction in which more and more companies will go green as well. I think this would really help make our plant greener. I also think one of the biggest problems in our environment is the automobile industry, and if they keep doing things to help make hybrid cars or making people want to buy them, it would not only save the buyer as much money but it would lead into a chain reaction to save more money all around.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad someone finally took a step forward. Maybe now, if we can see the impact from just this one step that maybe more and more will join the effort in going green. It's also a great idea that the car companies are willing to support money back ideas and such just to kick start the buying of hybrid vehicles.
ReplyDeleteExactly, I agree with both sydney and ariel on this issue b/c its like the domino effect. Once one companly goes green, then most likely more of the companies will follow the lead.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all the previous postings about the fact that this could be the beginnings of the domino effect. It's a really good idea and it shows me that the world is actually trying to keep our planet clean. Not only would it save the earth, but it will ultimately save money as well.
ReplyDeleteI think it is about time that certain companies realized the impact they have on the enviroment. Although they probably just did it for shock value and appraise, i still think this is a wonderful step in converting our planet to a greener habitat.
