This design for a faucet is really interesting. It helps people be more aware of and become more conservative with their water. Each time you wash your hands, the water in the fish bowl slowly decreases, making the person washing their hands want to save as much water as possible. Do not worry, the water in the fish bowl and the water used to wash your hands are not the same, they are completely separate but appear to be connected. I think this is a very clever and intriguing way to make people more water conservative, and I think it would be very successful.

  1. Wow creative! It's odd to me that we can trick our selves into believing little things or giving our minds a false idea so that we do something correctly. For example the bee stickers in a mens restroom, in order to reduce the amount of urine on the floor people give you a false target which showed insane results. Similar concept so i definitely think this would work are there already in different places? or still a concept?

  2. Although very cool, I'm not sure this would open people's eyes. This is almost like saying you see fat people at McDonalds while waiting in line, however, you proceed to order a 1/4 pounder. The ingenuity is apparent, but would it be effective? Debateable.

  3. I agree with Levi, it would take something major for me to change. I dought seeing that would make change unless the water was at the bottom then i would go somewhere else if i thought the fish was going to die.

  4. This is a very cool design, even though I don't agree with constant water level changes for the fish, but it is a good way to show people just how much water they are using to wash their hands. Although, is this really going to make people change their hand washing habits? I think that even though people are going to see the water level drop, they are still going to use as much water as they need to wash their hands.

  5. i also agree with levi, but i feel that it would make some people change for a time. after a while though i think people would realize its not real and quit caring. But i do like the idea

  6. I think this is a really good idea. It's a great visual way to show people how much water they are using/wasting.
