Fewer Rain Forest Mean Less Energy For Developing Nations

This article is about how a study was done that says that
less trees means less water in rivers to create hydro-power. Hydo-power is a major source of energy for developing nations and even for developed nations.
This study says that by 2050 40% of the power generated will be lost. They say
the see the effects in Brazil with the deforestation around the Amazon. They
have removed so many trees that it reduced rain fall and thus the river water
level went down. This could prove to be a major problem for many countries in
the future. We could stop it by planting as many trees as we cut down.
