The Hidden World Under Our Feet

This article is about the loss of biodiversity and the
effect it can have on the soil. The article starts out by saying that by 2100
that half of the worlds species will become extinct. This being said the
organisms in the soil will also start dying to. It take dead animals and plant
to create food for the organisms that break down the soil. If half of the
speicies die then there is no longer as much food for those organisms to eat.
This can cause and extinction in those organisms and thus our soil wont be good
for farming or other agracultural needs. We can fix this by keeping alive the
plants and animals we have.
