Eco-Friendly Driving Tips to Save Gas and the Environment
This article give tips on saving gas and the environment. Nobody wants to constantly waste their money on gas all the time. The best way to reduce the carbon footprint on your car is not to use it, but there is no other way of transportation until they figure out how to teleport human beings or use hydrogen powered cars. A well maintained car is a must. If a car is not well maintained then it will not drive as efficient as possible, thus wasting more gas than needed. People need to be aware of the way they drive. You don’t want unnecessary weight in your car because with more weight comes more gas consumed since the car has to work more. It also depends on speed, a person who always drives over 65 mph puts more air resistance against the vehicle making it work and use more fuel. A person must also know how to drive manual, if it is a stick the driver must know how to appropriately shift to get the best MPG rating. So in the end it all depends on the driver and not just the car to save as much gas as possible. I will keep these tips in mind next time I drive so I can be as efficient as possible.

I was surprised that driving manual actually helps
ReplyDeleteAfter reading the article I actually picked up some tips on how to save gas, I thought it was interesting that the amount of weight in your car uses more gas. I will be incorporating these tips in the way I drive from now on.
