Water Scarcity A Threat

Countries all over the world have a problem with water scarcity. It gets worse as the world continues to grow and the lack of water percentage goes up. Not only does the lack of water affect a person physically, but mentally also. There's not enough water to meet demand, so there's a shortage of food, lack of cleanliness and jobs. The economy thrives on water and without it, there wont be any resources.

Most countries who do have water and are not limited to it become neglectful at the fact that they have water at their disposal. They don't know it, but water can be expensive. In many countries they pay $2 a gallon everyday and that's still not enough. Water has become a scarcity because people don't conserve it and I believe that most people take it for granted. Instead of drinking water from a plastic water bottle, you could always refill a non disposable water bottle. Instead of brushing your teeth with the water running only turn it on when you're using it. There are many ways to conserve water.

  1. Eveyone needs to start watching how much water they use or else we will eventually run out of fresh water even if it is our next generations that it affects. Not good for our future as a whole world.

  2. The more fortunate countries need to start watching their water consumption because they carelessly use water when other countries need it.

  4. Water is a necessity for life and people are taking it for granted and not thinking about the people who would love to have that water.
