In recent studies, it has been shown that the rain forest might be more resilient to global warming than other ecosystems. This was found after a study by Dr. Chris Huntingford used digital climate models to show the effects of greenhouse gases. Surprisingly, only one of the models showed a large amount of lost tree cover. We could study what makes the rain forests so resilient, so we could work to make our more vulnerable ecosystems less risky. Personally, I think it is good that the rain forests are so resilient to outside forces, because they contain a large percentage of our world's animal and plant species.

This is very true. I wish more people new it.
ReplyDeleteThis is great. I am glad that this is not harming the rainforests as much so they can be preserved.
