California’s
Fight For Green
Starting way back in 1947 with an
air protection law, California has been leading a revolution for green ever
since. In 1970 California passed the California Environmental Quality Act or
CEQA for short. Later on they passed yet another movement called the AB32 which
forced a in cut greenhouse gases. In 2002 California forced carmakers to cut
down on vehicle emissions and 13 other states followed in their lead. Basically
California has been going green for a long time and their influence has spread
almost nationwide. I on one hand think this is a great thing. Every little
thing can help cut down on greenhouse gases and California has been doing a lot.

Good to see that some states actually care and have cared for a long time about the enviroment.
ReplyDeleteI think it is great that California started going green before most other states did. It guided the way for further green movements across the nation.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Logan now other states will hopefully join in!
