Consumption and Consumerism:
Even though this problem is getting better, it is still
rather high. The wealthiest people of the world had 20% of private consumption
while the poorest people had 1.5%. This isn’t fair to them. Just because they
don’t have as much money as the others doesn’t mean this concept should
unequal. Some solutions to this problem would be to make things more affordable
and available to the less fortunate people. The barrier to this solution is
that people will look at it as the richer people worked for their money but the
poor people are too lazy to do so. This is true sometimes but not all the time.
My opinion is that we should have a more equal and fair society instead of
splitting it by the rank of economy a person is in.
