Northern Gateway Pipeline Threatens Caribou

For years environmentalist groups have warned that the oil pipeline threatens salmon for both culinary and ecological reasons. Now they say the 1172 kilometer pipeline would cut straight through the northern half of British Columbian. This will also cut a slice through forests that the Caribou use as their habitat. The Caribou is already endangered and this certainly won’t help. Many people suggest abandoning the pipeline altogether. I think that even though people need oil, it already threatens two or more species habitats. So, I believe they should abandon the entire project.
