Found in the United States no more than
around 10 years ago, this ugly brown pest has become very invasive. The Brown
Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) is now habitant in 39 states. This bug is
destroying homes and gardens and is an economic threat to orchard fruits. This
bug had been ranked in the top “invasive insect of Interest’ list on the U.S.
Department of Agriculture (USDA). To find a solution to this threat Scientist at
the U.S. Department of Agriculture are trying to decipher the genetic code of
the stinkbug. Some scientist are looking in to the genes to see what make the
stink bug vulnerable to bio pesticides or find specific treatments that won’t
harm beneficial insects. While other want to study how their genes help them
survive but finding new ways to control the pests.

Invasive spices are something everyone should be area because the effect our crops and over all effect economically, I also think that my community since i leave in an area where farming takes place its area of this type where this pest could arise. I wouldn't want to stand the stange of this creature every so often, so it is good that scientist are doing things to have this pest more controlled.
