Brown Tree Snake a threat to Guam

The brown tree snake used to be only in Australia. It has now found its way to Guam and is causing harm to the people and animals there. They cause power outages all over the island by climbing up the pylons. They also have decimated a lot of the bird and reptile populations. The solution is to take the snakes back to Australia or to simply kill them. The barrier is that there’s no way of knowing if we catch all the snakes because a couple might slip by and just repopulate with more tree snakes.. My opinion is that these snakes are harmful to the fragile ecosystem of Guam and need to be controlled.

  1. If that snake doesn’t help out the ecosystem then we should just get rid of it since it is hurting people and animals. The brown tree snake doesn’t need to be controlled it just needs to die with the rest of the brown tree snakes. Snakes are gross and pointless anyways. But it would probably be impossible to catch all the brown tree snakes.

  2. Kill the snake, save the country.
Deport the snake, cost the country.
But we also need to consider that we brought the snake to Guam, it's not the snake's fault it thrives somewhere foreign.
But still we should just kill it.
