Gelatinous Menace? Jellyfish on Boom-Bust World Wide

Jellyfish are starting to seem like they are taking over the ocean. They’ve been on a recent rise-and-fall cycle Starting in 1993 to the peak in 2004. Humans have been known to get stung by them commonly, but research shows that it may be their own fault. Humans alter the ocean in a way that favor the jellyfish. Scientist say that it will take 10 more years to get a solid understanding and conclusion of the real cause of the jellyfish population.

I think that is they are more attracted to what humans do to the ocean then they should start putting up nets at a far distance in the ocean where people go to the beach at. I don’t want to go to the beach and have a huge pack of jellyfish around me. That’s just something that could help with the part of humans getting stung and stuff. I don’t think that the population rate of the jellyfish is anything to worry about until it starts to harm the other ocean life. If their abundance isn’t doing anything wrong then why try to solve the problem when there isn’t one?
